Agreement and scope
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Robin Olsson, operator of GlowFeed in Sweden ("GlowFeed", "we", "us", or "our") for your use of the GlowFeed mobile application, websites, and related services (the "Service").
By creating an account, selecting the acceptance control presented in onboarding, or using the Service after these Terms become effective, you agree to these Terms and the documents incorporated into them: the Privacy Notice, Community Guidelines, Health and Fitness Disclaimer, and Moderation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The current release is an invitation-based beta. These Terms apply to beta testers as well as later users unless a replacement version is presented and accepted.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement to use the beta. You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
You must provide accurate information during registration and onboarding. Do not impersonate another person, misstate your age, create an account for someone without authority, or evade a prior suspension. If eligibility changes, stop using the Service and contact us.
Your account and security
- Keep your credentials and access to your email account secure.
- Use one personal account unless GlowFeed authorizes another arrangement.
- Promptly tell us at support@glowfeed.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you notify us or we otherwise secure it, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Email confirmation, reauthentication, rate limits, and other safeguards may be required to protect users and the Service.
What GlowFeed provides
GlowFeed is a fitness logging and social community service. Depending on the beta release, it may let you record workouts, maintain a profile, upload training media, publish posts, discover people and content, interact with others, manage privacy preferences, and use reporting and safety controls.
Features may be added, changed, limited, paused, or removed during the beta. We do not promise that every preview, mock-up, roadmap item, metric, recommendation, or integration will become generally available.
Your content and the license you grant
You retain ownership of content you create and upload, subject to rights held by other people. You must have the rights, permissions, and consents needed to publish it, including permission from identifiable participants and any venue authorization that is required.
To operate the Service, you grant GlowFeed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transcode, adapt for technical display, transmit, and show your content in accordance with your privacy and publishing choices. This license includes the limited right to use service providers to perform those operations for GlowFeed. It does not transfer ownership to us.
The license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except to the limited extent a copy remains in a backup cycle, was shared by another user in a way the Service permits, or must be retained for security, legal claims, or legal obligations. We will not use private beta content to train a general-purpose artificial intelligence model without a separate, clear agreement.
Acceptable use
You must follow the Community Guidelines and applicable law. In particular, do not:
- harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, or shame another person;
- publish unlawful, fraudulent, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or rights-infringing material;
- promote dangerous training as safe, facilitate controlled-substance sales, or make deceptive health or transformation claims;
- scrape, probe, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass the Service or its access and safety controls, except where a non-waivable law permits security research;
- use bots, deceptive engagement, spam, or unauthorized commercial solicitation;
- collect or expose another person's personal data without a lawful basis and permission.
Fitness and health responsibility
GlowFeed is not a healthcare provider. The Service does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition and is not a substitute for a qualified medical, physiotherapy, nutrition, or training professional. Exercise carries risks, including serious injury and death.
You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you, checking equipment and surroundings, using suitable technique and supervision, and stopping when symptoms or unsafe conditions arise. Read the complete Health and Fitness Disclaimer before relying on any training content.
Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and platform services, including app distribution, authentication, email delivery, hosting, storage, and network protection. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply to your direct relationship with them.
GlowFeed is not responsible for an independent third-party service outside our control, but we remain responsible for our own selection and use of processors as described in the Privacy Notice.
Safety, moderation, and enforcement
We may investigate reports and take proportionate action, including reducing visibility, removing content, restricting a feature, warning a user, preserving relevant evidence, suspending an account, or terminating access. We may act immediately where safety, security, illegality, or serious abuse requires it.
Where appropriate and legally required, we explain the main reason for a decision and provide a way to appeal. Details are in the Moderation Policy. Safety tools do not guarantee that every violation will be detected or removed immediately.
Leaving GlowFeed
You may stop using GlowFeed at any time and can initiate account deletion from the app's settings. The Account Deletion Guide explains the process and its consequences.
We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated breaches, legal or security risk, or discontinuation of the beta. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, limited licenses needed for winding down, disclaimers, liability, and dispute provisions, continue to apply.
GlowFeed intellectual property
The Service, software, visual identity, product design, and original GlowFeed content are owned by or licensed to GlowFeed and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. They do not grant a right to use GlowFeed names, marks, source code, or designs outside the Service.
Send a sufficiently detailed intellectual-property complaint to support@glowfeed.app. We may request identity, ownership, location, and good-faith statements needed to assess it.
Beta availability and warranties
We use reasonable care in operating the Service, but a beta may contain defects, interruptions, incomplete features, or data-format changes. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis without a promise of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, preservation of every draft, or any specific fitness, social, commercial, or health outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
Responsibility and liability
Each party remains responsible for loss caused by its own breach, negligence, or unlawful conduct. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GlowFeed is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by unsafe exercise choices, reliance on user-generated content, or events outside our reasonable control.
We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law prohibits limitation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. This section does not reduce mandatory rights available to consumers in the European Economic Area.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, safety, legal, or operational changes. Each substantive version receives a new version identifier and effective date. When required, the app will present the new version and require acceptance before private routes reopen. We do not silently replace accepted policy text under the same version.
Law, disputes, and contact
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without depriving you of mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence. Swedish courts have jurisdiction, but a consumer may also bring a claim in another forum available under mandatory consumer law.
Before filing a claim, please contact support@glowfeed.app so we can try to resolve the issue. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent protection or using a regulator, consumer body, or court where legally available.
