Account Deletion Guide

Sign in to GlowFeed, open Settings, locate the account actions, and choose Request account deletion. Review the consequences and confirm the request. GlowFeed may require a current session or reauthentication to prevent unauthorized deletion.

The in-app control requests deletion of the account, not merely temporary deactivation.

Email support@glowfeed.app from the address associated with the account. Include only the information needed to identify the account. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting.

A completed deletion removes or irreversibly anonymizes the active account and associated personal data that GlowFeed is not required or justified to retain. This includes the authentication account, profile, avatar, training records, routines, preferences, social graph, posts, uploaded media, comments, reactions, saves, and other account-linked product data.

Content another user independently created is not that user's account data merely because it refers to you, but you may report privacy or rights concerns separately.

GlowFeed may retain the minimum record necessary where law, security, fraud prevention, unresolved disputes, enforcement appeals, or legal claims require it. Retained records are restricted from ordinary product use and deleted or anonymized when the reason ends.

Residual encrypted backup copies expire through provider backup cycles and are not restored to recreate a deleted account in normal operations.

The backend records an idempotent deletion request so repeated taps do not create conflicting operations. Requests are processed without undue delay. Complex safety, identity, or legal issues may require additional review. GlowFeed will provide status or completion information where the product flow or applicable law requires it.

Deletion is intended to be permanent. Access, content, history, and social connections cannot be recovered after active records and recoverable backups have been removed. Creating a later account does not restore the deleted account.

Deleting GlowFeed does not delete an Apple ID or data an independent platform controls under its own terms. If subscriptions or other independently managed platform services are introduced, they may need to be cancelled separately. GlowFeed will explain that in the deletion flow where applicable.
