Why these rules exist
GlowFeed is built for real training, useful progress, and respectful connection. These Guidelines apply to profiles, posts, media, comments, messages or mentions where available, usernames, links, reports, and offline conduct that creates a credible risk to the community.
Context matters. Educational, documentary, or recovery-focused content may be treated differently from content that glorifies harm, but labels and stated intent do not excuse foreseeable danger, abuse, or illegality.
Film safely
Do not place a device, tripod, cable, light, or person where recording obstructs equipment, walkways, emergency routes, a spotter, or another person's training. Stop recording if conditions become unsafe. Follow equipment instructions and use qualified supervision when appropriate.
Never stage a dangerous lift, reckless load, failed safety setup, or hazardous movement for engagement. Do not encourage viewers to copy an activity without the skill, health, equipment, or supervision it requires.
Respect privacy and consent
- Follow venue rules and staff instructions before filming.
- Do not record in changing rooms, toilets, treatment rooms, or other places where privacy is expected.
- Obtain clear permission before intentionally featuring another identifiable person.
- Frame, blur, crop, or do not publish material containing incidental identifiable bystanders who have not agreed.
- Remove content when a person shown makes a credible privacy or safety request, unless a lawful reason requires another outcome.
- Never expose addresses, contact details, medical information, access credentials, or other sensitive personal data.
Do not present dangerous activity as safe
Content must not encourage reckless technique, unsafe equipment use, disordered-eating behavior, self-harm, dangerous dehydration, extreme weight manipulation, or ignoring serious symptoms. Clearly distinguish personal experience from professional advice and disclose material limitations or risks when a reasonable viewer could otherwise be misled.
Do not fabricate credentials or make unsupported claims that a routine, product, supplement, or person diagnoses, treats, prevents, or cures disease.
No controlled-substance sales or facilitation
Do not offer, solicit, broker, distribute, or provide purchasing instructions for controlled substances, unlawful performance-enhancing drugs, counterfeit medicines, or prescription products without lawful authorization. Harm-reduction or news discussion must not function as a sales channel.
Be honest about progress and promotion
Do not use deceptive edits, fabricated records, undisclosed material enhancement, false testimonials, impersonation, or misleading before-and-after claims. Clearly disclose paid relationships, gifted products, affiliate incentives, and other material commercial connections where applicable.
Do not manipulate engagement, coordinate fake interactions, spam tags or comments, or use GlowFeed to run scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, or misleading giveaways.
No harassment, hate, or body shaming
Do not threaten, stalk, sexually harass, bully, humiliate, degrade, or repeatedly target another person. Content attacking people based on protected characteristics, encouraging violence, celebrating serious harm, or coordinating abuse is prohibited.
Fitness critique must address ideas or technique without dehumanizing a person, mocking a body, disclosing private history, or mobilizing followers against someone.
No sexual exploitation or abuse
Do not publish non-consensual intimate material, sexual exploitation, grooming, sexual services, or content that sexualizes minors. Apparent child sexual abuse material is prohibited and may be reported to competent authorities without prior notice.
Publish only content you may use
Upload only media, music, text, trademarks, likenesses, and other material you own or are authorized to publish. Credit does not replace permission. Respect removal requests and intellectual-property notices.
Do not copy another athlete's content, remove attribution, or present someone else's performance or qualifications as your own.
Keep identities and interactions authentic
Do not impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent affiliation, evade enforcement with replacement accounts, or automate activity without written authorization. Parody must be clear and must not create a harmful or fraudulent impression.
Report, block, and protect
Use in-app reporting for content or conduct that may violate these Guidelines. Include enough context for review and do not submit knowingly false, retaliatory, or duplicative reports. Blocking and hiding are available personal safety controls and do not by themselves determine whether a violation occurred.
For illegal-content notices, urgent safety concerns, or a report you cannot submit in the app, email support@glowfeed.app. Contact local emergency services first where someone faces immediate danger.
How enforcement works
GlowFeed considers severity, context, intent, likelihood of harm, audience, prior violations, and cooperation. Actions may include education, a warning, reduced distribution, content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, evidence preservation, or referral to authorities where appropriate.
We may act on related accounts and credible off-platform conduct when necessary to prevent serious harm or enforcement evasion. More detail is available in the Moderation Policy.
Appeals and mistakes
Eligible decisions can be appealed through the in-app flow or by email. Explain what was misunderstood and provide relevant context. A reviewer not responsible for the original decision will be used where reasonably practicable. Successful appeals result in appropriate restoration or correction.
Updates and contact
These Guidelines evolve as the community and Service change. Substantive updates receive a new version and effective date. Questions can be sent to support@glowfeed.app.
