Purpose and principles
GlowFeed moderates to reduce harm, enforce the Terms and Community Guidelines, respond to illegal content, protect privacy and intellectual property, and preserve a useful fitness community. Decisions should be proportionate, consistent, timely, and based on available evidence and context.
We distinguish between disagreement, poor-quality advice, rule violations, and illegal or immediately dangerous conduct. No system is perfect; a decision can be corrected through review or appeal.
What may be reviewed
Review may cover posts, profiles, media, captions, comments, usernames, links, account patterns, reports, appeals, and relevant technical or prior-enforcement records. Credible off-platform information may be considered when necessary to assess imminent danger, coordinated abuse, fraud, or enforcement evasion.
Submitting a report
Use the in-app report control where available. Select the closest category, identify the content or account, and provide concise context. A report receipt records submission and status. Knowingly false, abusive, or retaliatory reporting may itself violate the rules.
Reports do not guarantee a particular outcome. The reporter's identity is not ordinarily disclosed to the reported user, but information may be disclosed where law, due process, or safety requires it.
Illegal-content notices
A notice about allegedly illegal content can be sent to support@glowfeed.app. Include:
- the exact content or account location and enough information to identify it;
- a clear explanation of why the content is believed to be illegal and the relevant country or law if known;
- your name and email, except where law permits a notice without them;
- a good-faith statement that the information is accurate.
Where the Digital Services Act or another notice-and-action rule applies, GlowFeed will process the notice under the required procedure, acknowledge it where required, and communicate the outcome.
Urgent danger
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. GlowFeed is not an emergency service and does not continuously monitor content. Mark a follow-up email as urgent only for a credible imminent threat and include the content location and available context.
Review process
Review may include the reported material, surrounding context, audience, severity, intent, likelihood of harm, account history, user statements, applicable law, and available technical evidence. We may ask for clarification or preserve relevant records while a case is open.
We aim to prioritize imminent safety, child exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, credible threats, severe privacy exposure, and clearly illegal content. Complex cases may take longer. We do not promise a fixed response time where doing so could reduce review quality or conflict with law.
Possible actions
- no action where evidence does not establish a violation;
- education, warning, or a request to edit;
- age or sensitivity restriction, reduced visibility, or recommendation exclusion;
- content removal, interaction removal, or link disabling;
- feature limits, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination;
- blocking related accounts used to evade enforcement;
- preservation or disclosure where lawfully required for safety, claims, or authorities.
Actions are selected for the specific risk and may be combined. Severe conduct can justify immediate permanent action without prior warning.
Decision notices and reasons
Where appropriate and legally required, affected users receive the outcome, the main rule or legal ground, the type of restriction, and available appeal route. We may limit detail to protect reporters, minors, security methods, investigations, confidential information, or another person's rights.
Appeals
An eligible user can appeal through the in-app appeal control or by emailing support@glowfeed.app. Identify the decision and explain the alleged error or missing context. Appeals are free.
Where reasonably practicable, a reviewer other than the original decision-maker evaluates the appeal. GlowFeed may uphold, narrow, reverse, or replace the decision. Repeated identical appeals without new information may be closed.
Where applicable, EU users may also have access to a certified out-of-court dispute-settlement body or a competent Digital Services Coordinator. These external routes do not remove the right to go to court.
Block and hide controls
Blocking, hiding, unfollowing, and privacy settings are user-controlled safety tools. They may limit contact or visibility for the requesting user without creating a platform-wide finding. GlowFeed may still review reported conduct separately.
Automation and human judgment
Automated validation, rate limits, duplicate detection, ranking signals, and safety indicators may prioritize or temporarily contain risk. They do not replace contextual review for eligible appeals. GlowFeed does not currently use a solely automated moderation decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Records, privacy, and transparency
Case records are access-controlled and retained only as needed for review, appeals, repeat-abuse prevention, legal obligations, safety, and claims. The Privacy Notice explains rights and retention criteria.
GlowFeed may publish aggregate transparency information that does not identify users. Where a legal transparency database or authority submission is required, we will provide the mandated information while protecting personal data.
Point of contact
Users, authorities, and trusted flaggers can contact support@glowfeed.app. Communication may be in English or Swedish. The point of contact is not limited to automated tools.
